Photographing my community has been a journey that has allowed me to document the vibrant tapestry of daily life along the Chesapeake.. Through my lens, I have sought to capture the unique essence of the people, places, and events that shape our community.
Richard Olsenius, of American Landscape Gallery, is pleased to announce the sale of his private collection of M. E. Warren signed black & white and color artist proofs. Olsenius was the only authorized printer of Warren’s iconic photographs from 2002 until Marion’s death in 2006 Their collaboration produced some of the highest quality art prints of Warren’s career as stated by Warren himself. This is the only set of signed Warren artist proofs available,
To maintain consistency and image quality, Warren compared each new print or change in print size to Richard’s artist’s proofs and then signed them to establish his approval. Richard then set these match prints aside as the standard to compare any future prints by Olsenius and Warren. It’s been 17 years since their collaboration ended with Warren’s passing and Olsenius has now released this one-of-a-kind “Artist Proof Collection” of 55 M.E.Warren hand-signed printer’s proofs of his iconic black & white and Color work.
This print collection also includes the last small number of signed artist proofs of the famous Bay Bridge photograph. We at American Landscape Gallery believe these artist proofs are the largest collection of Warren’s signed archival prints.

THE ARTIST PROOF COLLECTION
Marion Warren was one of Maryland’s famous photographers who chronicled life in the Chesapeake region. This one-of-a-kind set of signed “artist proofs” by photographer Marion Warren is being offered from the private collection of master printer Richard Olsenius. Olsenius became Warren’s only authorized personal printer for the last several years of his life. (2003-2006)
This one-of-kind set of signed color artist proofs by Marion Warren is being release from the private collection of master printer Richard Olsenius. In his later years, Warren and Olsenius collaborated to print these rarely seen color photographs of Marion Warren. These are only signed a”artist proofs” of his color work.
