I am pleased to offer a special “artist-signed” printer proof of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge by Marion Warren, the renowned “Bay” Photographer. The Bay Bridge is one of Warrens most iconic photographs. With an eye for detail, composition and the use of dramatic lighting, Warren captured cars traveling the early single span bridge under a full moon. I repaired and printed his famous Bay Bridge for him during the 2002 -2008 period. I have sold one of two over-sized signed Warren printer proofs. This is the last remaining print at this size.
Warren is a well-known photographer (1920 - 2006) who documented the Chesapeake Bay region over nearly 60 years. His black-and-white photographs celebrate the life of oysterman and crabbers and the growth of Annapolis and the Bay area from a sleepy backwater to sailing capital of the world. For several years, due to his declining health, I was the only official designated printer for his work. This is the last of two over-sized printer proofs that I printed for Marion that he approved and signed. This is the last artist proofs of this size in existence and available for purchase.
